Neck/fingerboard: Laminated maple neck, 20 fret ebony fingerboard with narrow block inlays from the first fret and pointed end, bone nut, 25 ½-inch scale length

 

Body: 17-inch cutaway body with parallel top bracing, spruce top, maple back and sides, Sunburst finish, bound f-holes

 

Hardware: Gold plated Varitone tailpiece, Kluson Sealfast tuners with amber Catalin buttons, rosewood bridge, reproduction pickguard by Mirabella

 

Notes: According to Andre Duchossoir, this guitar was dispatched on October 13th of 1939 to the S.E. Philipitt Co. of Miami, Florida. Two small screw holes have been filled from a previously installed pickguard bracket. Has its original striped tweed Gibson hardshell case
