Neck/fingerboard: Wide block inlays from the third fret, 19-fret fingerboard with square end

Body: 16-inch body with maple back and sides

Hardware: Gold plated metal parts, regular tailpiece, reproduction pickguard, non-original but age-appropriate gold Grover 98G Sta-Tite tuners

 

Notes: According to Joe Vinikow (archtop.com), the original parallel braces are not kerfed, but capped, with just a single slot in the middle of each tone bar

 

Joe Spann tells us that the FON 580 indicates that the guitar was constructed in May 1933 and shipped later in the same year
